| My wife and I were attending a convention in Seattle and decided to visit Rainier. We climbed Dege Peak and then drove up to Sunrise. That was the day I decided to climb Mount Rainier. I climbed it 9 years later. I've been climbing ever since. | |

| Nice little hike with great views of Rainier and the other peaks in the area. No one else on the trail, unlike on Burroughs later in the day. Recommended. | |

| Spent a day walking a lot of the trails at Sunrise and this was one of the better viewpoints. It's not much of a hike distance wise but this peak can easily be combined with Burroughs and/or Fremont or other stuff in the area. | |
