Yes, I was here about seven years ago. Utah's premier landmark. When we were here, we noticed somebody had built a campfire directly beneath the arch. How upsetting; we notified the Park service. Great views! Looks like you observed some threatening weather. Oh well, such is Mother Nature. TAKE CARE !!!

Thanks for your nice words! I was happy about the threatening weather; it really made the shot, and was just bluster anyway, I don't recall getting very wet if at all. I am glad that with all the attention this landmark receives (including rogue campfires apparently) it is still possible for an amateur like myself to take a photo of it in its natural state. I was however lucky that the lighting coincided with the moment I had gotten all the people out of the way.
