Dennis (foreground) and Lon on June 24, 2001. This is on the rock finger to the right of Dana Couloir above the bergschrund after we had decided the couloir was too icy for our comfort. Another climber with us, Tim, was able to make it up to the summit by using 2 axes and front pointing. I told him of the Glacier Canyon route which he used on his descent. Dana Lake and Dana Plateau are in the middle of the photo. Can anyone name the peaks on the horizon? :-)
