Extreme windy camping
We didn't reached the summit as setting up our tents kept us very busy. A huge storm came, so we had to hurry. There were enormous snow showers, the wind blew extremely hard, we had to dig up the tents from the snow three times during the night. However, the weather was not as cold as we expected. We fled from the mountain at dawn.

Along the ridge
Instead of the customary 4-day 'suffering' that we love to put ourselves through in the winter along the Donovaly-Certovica ridge, we were greeted by fantastic conditions. Neither crampons nor snowshoes were really necessary this time.

long tripI went with my mom and older sister up to Chabenec and along the range to Derese and Chopok. We even met some people there, mostly foreigners.
