Descending to Cub Lake

Descending from Spire Pass toward Cub Lake (center, snow-covered). Itswoot Lake is hidden under cliffs to the left. We'll hit the near shore of Cub and pick up the trail that skirts the right end and climbs to the saddle at the top-right. Stage 4 of the Ptarmigan ends there at campsites – our first in forest.
