Desert Lupine

I had thought Lupine grew only in the mountains but I was surprised to find this in the eastern washington area. Found on Badger Mountain and in the Wallula Gap area, this is a delight to find as it seems so out of place.

surprises out there; all we have to do is
take the time to look. A bit windy here;
but the weather picture looks good. The
