When we returned to the trailhead the moon was rising over the desert painting the early night sky in a beautiful pink-purple-blue-ish hue. Anza Borrego Desert State Park, January 2012

Purple Clouds

And blue sky. can't say I've seen those colors before in the sky. Real nice!

Thanks. It lasted only for a few precious minutes before the colors faded and it became "simply" dark.
