Desert Peak (UT)
MikerHiker captured this pic of me enjoying the SW ridge of Desert Peak. All I can say is 2009 was a great year. It was great to hike with Mike and do some of the stuff together that we were able to enjoy. Perhaps the most memorable will be that day in June on Box Elder Peak when we almost had to find the summit by the braile system. Thanks Mike.

Hey, wait a minute!

You're making it sound like 2009 is over with.

What about the snow angels, and catching
snowflakes with your tongue as they fall out
of the northern Utah skies ???

Well, since it is almost the middle of November, the year is quickly fading. Snow angels and catching snowflakes will be a probability here by Saturday. Don't you miss it?

Matter of fact, YES, I miss it very much!

'Cept for the part where you have to shovel
off the sidewalk for the mail carrier, or when
somebody throws a "slush-ski" at your head.
