Desert Peak

As seen from the west side. The road to the "TH" shown here is a very rough
4x4 road that absolutely requires high clearance. A 2WD vehicle could get to within a couple miles of the place we parked at and in reality that wouldn't be adding a tremendous amount of mileage. Try that road with low clearance and you will be needing a wrecker to come get you. We saw a couple other possibilities from the west side that were to the left of the peak and a bit to the north. More map study and google earth might be a big help in finding a different route from the west.
