| What an awesome little peak! The views are just amazing - 4 states from one place. I loved the little disks for orienting yourself towards surrounding valleys and peaks. Great outing, great leg-stretcher, loved it. I sat up there looking at ALL those other peaks to summit, though, and regretted I was short on time in the area. | |

| Worth the short walk. When I was up there a storm rolled over and I had to hug one of the walls for cover but after it passed it made for a great sunset. | |

| I loved this one although I wonder why someone gave it the name Devil's Courthouse. Anyway, I walked up while my husband jogged. I think I liked walking better. Breeze and view was great at the top though. | |

| A fun jog to the top with an incredible view. It was a wonderful discovery for me and my wife while driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway en route to hiking in the Shining Rock Wilderness. | |

| I absolutely loved this summit off the BRP! Fantastic weather, the coolest I have been in weeks. It saddens me that this is off limits to climbing. | |

| Must admit I've encountered some steep trails, but I've never hiked that steep of a paved trail before. The summit was impressive and the view of it is impressive from the parking lot, but the views from the summit weren't the best the parkway has to offer. | |

| We climbed up to the summit on the way back from Chestnut Bald. The views were good but the paves trail to the top is a bit ridiculous because it detracts from the natural surroundings. | |

| I've walked to the summit of Devils Courthouse many times. It's just a short 1/2 mile stroll. This was the first time I'd hiked up since the walls have been closed to climbing. Access to the peak is now strictly limited to the paved trail and the walled area on the summit. | |
