Great climb of Devils Spiral  Sucess!

Fun but very short climb. Very picturesque. Bring a very light rack. I would scramble and downclimb if going again. To avoid rope drag, there is a nice belay stop with a roof just before turning the corner and climbing thre last 15' to the summit

Spiral Direct  Sucess!

Great little summit. Nice airy climbing but not too hard. My wife and I climbed directly to the summit from the notch. Plenty of low 5th class options. Also climbed 12,660A and Skyscraper from Rollins Pass.

Great little route. Pretty easy. 4th class but has great exposure for such a little climb. Nice hike from the Grand County side too.

Route Climbed: West face (?) Date Climbed: 1992?  Sucess!

A climb I'll always remember. My little brother and I scampered up this (hadn't even really known that we'd find such a neat spire) and then scampered down to rejoin our worried father at the base. If memory serves I was wearing nike high tops and he had on chucks - neither of us would've known how to use a rope if you'd handed one to us - and it was raining lightly. I remember standing with one leg each on the wobbly summit rock (interesting to hear that it's still wobbly!) for a long-distance photo. Great climb.
