Whereabouts?When I was back to college, retraining, in the 1990's I wrote an essay, whose first line was something like: "If I could move to an English-speaking country, I'd move to Oregon, Washington or British Columbia..."

Re: Whereabouts?Diablo Lake is in North Cascades National Park in northern Washington. As far as your college essay, You must have done your homework. It as a wonderful place to live and play.
