| Went back up just for the heck of it on the way to Ely, saw the feral horses running amok on the saddles below the summit. Very enjoyable and windy climb once again. The green sign was laying down the slope, I placed it back in the cairn, hopefully to stay. The old registers from my previous ascent are nowhere to be found. Watched the beautiful sunset on the way back down, the use trail is difficult to follow on the way up, but going down I was able to stay with it the entire time - it really does take the best line, swapping sides of the ridge occasionally, and makes the return a fast one. |
