| Totally missed the trailhead and thus the "trail"....climbed through the boulder field on the north side of the mountain and then up the scree and talus slope to the old lookout....then took the ridge to the summit. We made it much harder than it had to be. Summitted with Cougar14...who made me a better climber today. | ||

| Very easy mountain to ascend even if going up the boulder field instead of the trail. Amazing views of the other Glacier Peaks especially White Calf and Red Eagle Mountains. Climbed with Rebelgrizz. Also climbed 7/18/12 by trail this time. | ||

| This was one of my most enjoyable summits. The rock is firm, providing very good purchase for climbing, and the view for the amount of energy expended is incredible. Nice little wooden lookout on the ridge (old). | ||

| Due to various maladies (Fred's shoulder-back-feet and my broken toe), this was the first hike/climb of the year. Great fun and great views. Hopefully we are now on the way to doing more. | ||

| Climbed with Moni. The Tribe is salvage logging the burn and there are now several spur roads in the area, so there can be a little confusion as to the correct road to the parking spot. Following the power line is the key to staying on the correct road. | ||

| Excellent views from a peak that is not centrally located. The most astonishing view was of the surrounding devastation from the Red Eagle Fire. That is as black as black gets. | ||

| I don't remember when I climbed it. I was about 10 or 12. I started out with 3 siblings, 2 parents and my grandmother. At the firelookout, 3 stayed and 4 of us went on to the top. Parts of it were quite difficult, but we were pretty young back then. I remember enjoying the part from the lookout to the summit the most. | ||

| Great way to spend a few hours in GNP. This climb is easy and short enough to be done in 1/2 day. Divide Peak was adopted by GNP - it seems it didn't share the bad weather the rest of the peaks were having that day and the rock on this mountain is very different too. Very solid and grippy to climb on. What fun! | ||

| Good climb with Aaron and Ellen. Very, very nice mountain; one of the few "easy" ascents in GNP. The view from the summit is, as usual with Glacier Peaks, spectacular! Terrific view of the rather weird, almost eerie looking, Curly Bear and Red Eagle Mountains, plus unusual views into the Triple Divide Peak/Mount James area, as well. More than well worth the effort! | ||
