Hasn't voted | Yeah, it was! This picture, along with a couple of others, are pretty old. From my days as a military mountaineering instructor for the USMC (based out of Pickle Meadows, CA.) This one was taken during our AMT-ROCK (Advanced Mountaineering Training - Rockclimbing) training, Apline Skills International were our instructors (and some of the finest I've ever met!) They're based out of Donner Summit, and we just camped out behind their office hut and climbed all day for a week. A little of everything; advanced leading & multi-pitch, anchors, self-rescue, and even a little aid climbing. One of the best weeks of my life! | | Posted Nov 28, 2007 2:19 pm |
