Hasn't voted | I'm pretty sure "Hobnail Boots" is WI4+
I think they were on pitch 4 and had one more short pitch to the top. That route is STEEP. They were probably four or five hundred feet up in this shot. We did a 5 pitch route WI3+ on the Bard-Harrington Wall that hasn't been in since 1997. Lots of fun!!! | | Posted Jan 7, 2004 11:12 pm |

Hasn't voted | That weekend Doug was privately guiding a client on some harder lines. We had a different instructor, working for Doug, as a part of his 2-day seminar. The first day we reviewed skills and technique and the second day we did a very fun 5-pitch route. This was Miguel's second time with Doug's company and it was my first. I highly recommend his 2-day seminar, you'll get much more out of it than you think. | | Posted Jan 25, 2004 2:02 pm |
