Dr. Needlepoint

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Dr. Needlepoint
This outcrop is about where the Degree 101 crag ends and Dr. Needlepoint begins. The markings on it tell the story of how dry the summer of 2007 was. In conditions like this, it is possible to climb the small corner the outcrop forms with the cliffs (short Class 4 pitch) to access the Dr. Needlepoint crag from Poison Ivy Gully and the Degree 101 crag, both downstream. Otherwise, depending on water levels, one can climb the rocks to the left of this spot (not pictured) to travel between the crags.
