Dragons cave

Dragons cave

In Matkov kot (valley) the Jezera creek has it source. In the lower part of the valley the walls on both sides form a picturesque gorge, called Lamotje. In its northern rocks, just some 80 meters above the valley bed, there is this nice cave. More than 100 years ago in it a wild hunter called Šikanc was living, together with his numerous family. But legends about this cave go even further back. People were telling that once in this cave a dragon was living - the one who made with his tail a hole in valley rocks, so that the nice lake, which was behind the rocks, flew away, flooding the whole valley and carrying down it also the craddle with a small boy. It landed only in Solčava and people rescued the boy, who was later called shepherd Krištof. Photo: Jasmina Pogačnik.

Re: Very cool!

Thanks :)
I guess it was not so difficult. My wife has a very common Sony camera and for this shot it's written: time=1/160 sec, f=3.5.
Cheers,
Vid
