Dragontail

[ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Dragontail
Shirley hiking down the snow slopes on the south side of Dragontail after our climb of Serpentine Ridge. Photo shows how steep the snow gets here - no more than 25-30 degrees max would be my guess (July 24, 2005).

I KNEW you were headed to Serpentine!

By the way, the word you are looking for in this photo is "glissade". Then again, you may not have had the right pants for it and it's a long slog down to the lake.

Heh, heh... :)

Yeah, ruined a couple pairs on glissading. No more - rather spend the $$ on post climb beers.

Agreed. By the way, nice climb, even if you did not enjoy it much. Such a great area it could not have been too bad, eh?
