From Rain: Ascent via the Knuttental and the Klammlsee, down via the Kofler Seeen  Sucess!

The weather forecast was a bit iffy, but at first it was decent and I even got sunburn. On the descent I got wet.

Along the way, I also traversed the Bärenluegspitz (scrambled up the NE ridge, down the easier NW ridge and W face) and later bagged the Stutennock when the weather improved temporarily.

All in all, it turned out to be a very long day.

For 20 days with my parents on the peaks of Riva Valley. Nice climb for a rocky ridge (maybe West). I was 16th and I don't remeber,,,

Route Climbed: Kofler See - Baerenluegtal round trip Date Climbed: September 6th 2004  Sucess!

a very fine but quite long (9,5 h) day of hiking. Some clouds in the morning, then almost clear sky, fine views... Only few people that we met and nobody else in the remote Baerenlueg valley

Route Climbed: Ascent from Koflersee-descent to Knuttenalm Date Climbed: august 2000  Sucess!

A very interesting mountain where you can walk alone also in a sunny day of August.

Route Climbed: Kofler Alm Route Date Climbed: Sept 1999  Sucess!

The frst part of the ascend is a scramble through dense forest where you barely get the opportunity to see anything. Above the lower Kofler Alm the views widen. After reaching Koflersee a nasty 500m scramble eastwards starts with a short summit scramble along the south ridge.
