Driselpoh

Driselpoh

Above Baska grapa, on the slopes of Crna Prst and Rodica, in the distant past (13. century) German speaking settlers from Tyrol came. That is why many topographic names have origin in German language. Driselpoh came very likely from Drisel Bach, similarly as Kocnpoh (the neighbouring creek) originates in Katzen Bach. Today, in this valley there's only one house, where two elderly people live. The man told us, that above this, lower waterfall, there are some five more, but that one needs to climb to reach them. 'I don't dare any more', he also added. Summer, 2007.
