love your floppy ears. You even have all the same colors as my long gone best friend, Haley.
Happy climbing, Duchess,
Marc

I am sorry about your old friend. Duchess is already 10 years old (she does not look it, right?), and still is full of energy, but I am dreading the moment when she will leave me. She did over 40 fourteeners in Colorado. Such a good hiking/climbing buddy.

Thank you - Duchess says.... She has days that she still acts like a puppy, but she also has days that she is pretty tired...

Just great to unleash a modern-day wolf into its natural realm. What a happy face. Wish more people would give their companions that better life.

Hey folks, my dog gets about too. I found him in Scotland, and has been to the Bavarian and Austrian Alps.

well dogs are like perpetual 3 year old kids - always happy to see you, and always looking up to you...
How did you get your dog to the Alps?

My dog was able to get to the Alps because Europe has unrestricted travel for pets. We drove, and Er, he's well, like, not so active - see photos... the black one, with the Tartan ears! Nevertheless, a great pal! Othwise, I'm wanting a husky with them big blue / white, wild eyes.
Duchess is a marvel.
