Voted 10/10 | Where is Duck Lake. I looked all over the Gore Range Map, and couldn't find it. | | Posted Jul 28, 2011 1:41 am |

Hasn't voted | Duck Lake in in an unnamed basin just below Mt. Powell about two-thirds of a mile ENE of the summit with an elevation of 11,790 feet. It is one of the few glacial fed lakes left in CO. Beautiful and remote place | | Posted Jul 28, 2011 1:44 am |

Voted 10/10 | I found it on the map - wow, it looks like a lot of bushwhacking to get there. This is worth visiting | | Posted Jul 29, 2011 1:34 am |

Hasn't voted | There isn't any bushwhacking if you get to it by coming from Piney Lake and heading over Kneeknocker Pass and then over a second unnamed pass just south of the Lake. However DO NOT continue to the east and descend the Black Creek drainage as we did (to cross the Gores from W to E) That drainage is awful.
Yes it's worth a visit though. See this TR if you wish for my account of that trip.
