Dune Primrose

Dune Primrose (Oenothera deltoides) photographed along the Oak Creek trail. Rainbow Peak and Brownstone Wall are visible in the background. Red Rocks, Nevada. April 2008. Dune Primroses are low growing plants with large white flowers. Their flowers gradually turn pink after the third day of the bloom.

Thanks Larry. I'm sure it's not a Teddy. It may be a Cane Cholla, but it doesn't say where this was taken (which desert?), elevation or anything. The yellow things are fruits. Cheers.
