| Standard route from SE bowl. Snow just cleared. 2nd party to ascend this season according to summit register. 2.5 hrs up, 1/5 hrs down. Climbed with two Scouts; Max, 1st Class Scout, age 16, Nishon, Life Scout, age 17. Class2/3 scramble. Easier than it looks. NOTE: There is a good campsite at the base of the SE bowl drainage. A clear area around a large boulder. | |

| Eagle Scout/Stewart dayhike out of Crescent Meadow. Quite long. And quite spectacular. The HST up to Kaweah Gap is one of those settings that just makes you go WOW. Truly awesome. | |
