Eagles Nest from the north.
To the best of my recollection this was taken at a small pond near Eaglesmere Lakes. July, 1986.

Thanks Grant. I'm glad Scott has put up this page. Looking through my few Gore Range photos really makes me want to get back in there again.

I kinda rediscovered this site last week, and since then have spent many (too many!) hours browsing the photos. I've gotta say this is one of the most pleasing photographs I've come across. Absolutely beautiful!

Speak for yourself there, Mr. Johnson. I've been seeing an awful lot of excellent photos by you as I cruise the galleries here.

Thanks Gareth & Chris. One of those fantastic mountain evenings. We were camped a few hundred yards from here by a beautiful flowing stream.

Beautiful reflection shot, Nelson. Gotta love the color of that sky!

Thanks Misha. I was happy how this turned out too. I finally feel like I'm starting to get the hang of my scanning software and techniques.

Thats a great shot Nelson. How'd you get that much detail in the foreground? Graduated ND?

Thanks Josh. No, this was taken before I had an ND. Just got lucky! It was slide film (Fuji Sensia?) so it is surprising I pulled this much latitude out of it.
