We got a late start and ended up heading off into the fog while on the Cowlitz glacier. We got above it after getting up the Cathedral Gap. Aug 1969 (scanned from slide)

wearing shorts! Good that EXTRA
CLOTHING is one of the TEN ESSENTIALS.
