Early season snow

Last year at this time there was no snow and the area was bone dry. A good snow storm will close the access road that comes up from the Godman Guard station since it is on the north side of the ridge and holds snow and ice a long time. The intrepid hikers are my 9 year old grandson and his dad.
This was my grandson's first snow hike and first hike to a lookout.
