| This was an awesome climb. The aspens were at their peak of color, spread out on all sides. The climbing was spectacular, perfect ridge scrambles (a little loose, but managable). Ascended the North Ridge of Beckwith and descended by traversing the entire 'east' cirque, via the SE Ridge of Beckwith, and dropping down to Dollar Lake. This portion of the route was airy Class 3 in spots... I definately thought my moves through carefully, considering the consequences on both sides.. Definately going to head back here and do the "5 cirque traverse" route that Kane has posted, probably with an ascent from Dollar Lake... |
