Eastern Aspect of Gredaro (2605m)

Eastern Aspect of Gredaro (2605m)
I took this photo whilst climbing the Northern Ridge of Muretov to the South-East. I thought this face and ridge particularly attractive. The main summit is the peak to the right. The peak to the left is a foreshortened subsidiary peak on the ridge connecting Muretov with Gredaro. Photo taken March 2009.

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."   --Calvin Coolidge
