An easy hike to a prominent highpoint, UN 12,955 is good for beginners and older hikers alike, who want to "get a little High". Located north of Trinchera Peak in the Sangre de Cristo Mts., a 4WD road takes the climber to within just a few hundred feet of the summit. Mountain sheep can often be observed in this area.
