| After spending the day walking around historic Philadelphia and on my way to D.C., I "hiked" to the "summit" of Ebright Azimuth. The hardest part was the fact I had a blistering headache. | ||

| Came back here for the second time (the first was in '92). It seems much the same, but there is now a nice concrete curb in front of the sign, that allows someone to take a photograph without standing in the middle of traffic. We hit it on a rainy Sunday morning, so it was a pretty quiet summit. | ||

| Well...the skyline of Wilmington was bigger than I expected. It was easy to find. It was very neat and tidy. The flowerbed was in bloom. I got a picture at midnight. On to Philly! | ||

| My daughter Vanessa and I had just started our state highpoint quest. At 9 years old, this was the predictable reaction to having her picture taken on the side of the road near the intersection of Elbright Rd and Ramblewood Drive, then identified as the highpoint and also know as "Tower Hill". There was no sign then identifying it as the state highpoint. It was our number 3 | ||

| Intersection was much busier than I had anticipated. We braved the elements, and made it to the sign. | ||

| Conquered the mighty Azimuth on the way back from my best man's wedding in New York. My wife went shopping while I slogged my way across the street to the blue sign. | ||

| It was refreshing to get to a real place with real streets and houses; youe don't see anything real from the interstates. HP #19 for me. | ||

| Didn't realize it was the Highpoint at the time, but I guess I can sign the summit log since I drove on this road the other day. | ||

| BCJ | Epic! ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 9, 2007 | |
| We opted for the one-day ascent without a basecamp. The crux (stepping out of the car) was tricky when I hit my knee on the steering wheel. It was a minor injury and I was able to fight through the pain and tag the summit. Well worth the effort. | ||

| I (with my wife (Tracy) and son (Alex), then almost 2 yrs old) did this as part of our first family HP trip. This is more of a drive-to than a drive-up! | ||

| Redwic | Doreen Makes This HP Special... ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 3, 2008 | |
| I love hearing the history of this highpoint and the surrounding area. I have to be honest; Doreen made this HP special for me. I visited before sunset, and gave her a "Thank You" card. I had never met with or spoken to her before then, but I wanted to give her something for all she had done for this highpoint and highpointers alike. We spent a long time talking with each other, sharing stories... my favorite was the "Candid Camera" story she told me. She even directed me to the "other" U.S. Geological disk down another street. Awesome lady. This was the seventh of seven HPs (plus Washington, D.C.) I would reach in two days' time. HP #31 for me. | ||

| Visited here on my way home from a trip to WV. Hit up Fort Reno earlier in the day. Nothing too exciting here. Parked and walked around. Every car that passed stared at me. Had some trouble locating the USGS marker but got it eventually. | ||

| Did the drive-by during our east coast trip. Saw the blue sign of course, also lots of cars and believe it or not, one other highpointer. Debate topic afterwards - was this summit "tougher" than Florida ? | ||

| Glad to have this one done. I was almost ashamed taking a picture of myself by the sign. But it's a highpoint nonetheless. | ||
