Echo Canyon in Winter
See that big log behind me? That was part of our "bridge" that we made to try to get across this section. We made it just a short distance over the log. We couldn't tell how deep the water was and the ice was buckling under foot. The logs that we were stepping on were submerged in water. Guess we'd need a dry suit. :-( So we headed up to Observation Point and looked down into the canyon as opposed to hiking it. Photo by Eric.
