Quick and easy solos in approach shoes. The descent down the back side is the crux for both. Then walk around back west.

Sound of One Shoe Tapping
Nothing special, just another of many slab routes on this face. Run out, but I would not hesitate in soloing the whole route. On the soft side of 5.8. Pinky Lee (5.10d) is a must do further down. I led Pinky Lee but will never attempt Hot Knife (5.10a)....looks like a ankle buster to me....such is the diversity of Jtree.

WAC & HelixI climbed Helix and WAC many years ago, when I was first learning to climb. My calves just ached after climibng WAC.
