I have found that Picaridin works the best in the Sierras.

Hasn't voted | The Deep Woods Off usually does the trick for me, that and sprinting.
The sandals are nice for hiking and climbing, except when loose talus falls on your toes! But I've done 20-mile days in my Chacos, with Class 4, snow traverses, and bushwhacking thrown in. It must be interesting to see a dude in sandals with an ice axe. | | Posted Mar 24, 2010 11:23 am |
