Started from Cruz Grande. Beautiful views of Roque Nublo and Mt Teide. Returned the same way.

Second time
Hiked from Cruz Grande to Pico de las Nieves and took the short detour to El Campanario again. Very windy so that I skipped the last five meters to the top this time. Views imperfect because of Sahara dust.

Sidestep towards Pico de las Nieves
Hiked the wonderful Camino Real from Cruz Grande to Pico de las Nieves and beyond. Followed the guidebook suggestion along the path to El Campanario. Very impressive on top, hundreds of metres of a brittle face dropping away into Caldera de Tirajana. Airy scrambles onto two of the summit blocks.
