El Hongo

Shot from the true summit of Iliniza Sur.

El Hongo is the (slightly lower) central summit. Pico Ambato, the eastern summit, is a little bit further back. The direct route comes from the east and goes directly over Pico Ambato, then skirts El Hongo low on the north - that's on the left in this picture.

Mind you, we didn't take the direct route, we climbed a variation on the normal route.
