| Just got back from elephants back. The snow made things fairly difficult at first because there was no obvious trail. so i started from carson snow park near red lake it was about a mile of zig zagging in fresh powder through trees until i was able to see elephants back. from there it was an easy hike to the top. Overall a great day trip | |

| First summitpost group outing for me -- met Misha, Diggler, keema, mrolph, mountainvoodoo and Dragger. We bagged this thing as a consolation prize after turning back from Round Top's east ridge (which in retrospect was not such a bad thing :) High winds and deteriorating weather. Fun ! | |

| Climbed this with my 2 yr 10 month old son. He had a blast and hiked all the way to Winnemucca Lake by himself. Nice views from the summit of Red Lake Peak and the many local lakes. | |

| Nice and easy climb from Carson Pass. Hiked this one with Devin (4.5 yrs old). The kid is really turning into quite the trooper. Cool and windy day but the views were great. | |
