Elk Mountain as seen from Bat...
Elk Mountain as seen from Bat Cave Mountain. The top of the southeast ridge is the highest visible point, to the right of which is a severely foreshortened east face followed by the northeast ridge, which is the right skyline. Most of the visible section of the mountain is the southeast face--the bulk of Elk Mountain is still hidden, including the true summit, out of view on the left side of the mountain. Eastern Mount Lincoln is visible on the far left.

This photo gives a nice representation of what a lot of the terrain there is like. Cool photo.
