Elk Pellets, Ute Trail, RMNP

Well, somebody had to put a scat picture in the "Animal Signs" album, so here is mine. These elk pellets were about about 25 yards from a resting group of six bachelors, but any connection to those particular elk would be circumstantial evidence only. Note the single flower emerging from the scat. June 2006.
