Elkhorn Peak from Mt Baird

Elkhorn Peak from Mt Baird
Elkhorn Peak is the peak connected to Mt Baird. They are seen as a double summit from many angles. The ridge between the two is a fun hike when it is snow free. I saw moose tracks one year from a moose who traversed both peaks. Even a moose could not resist bagging both peaks in a day.

Mt Baird was an awesome ski. I stayed mostly on the ridge, then it was a long traverse out the canyon. There are definitely more direct lines on the peak to ski. I am sure you had fun on Sheep Creek Peak.
