| First time in Elko, ate at the Star Restaurant which was nice the night prior. Woke up early and drove up to the summit to get a look at the Ruby Mountains. I cannot wait to get back down here to do some hiking. | |

| I got up before the sun did and drove up to the summit to witness the sunrise. A great viewpoint. Lots of cattle grazing on the lower mountain, even in the dark so I had to be extra careful in my driving. Returned with Dennis Poulin on 6-3-11. | |

| The first time I was on the summit, it was just getting to be sunset and the city lights from Elko and Spring Creek were appearing. We drove to the summit both times I was up there and each time it was beautiful. | |

| Great all-around views! I love this part of Nevada. If you're in the area and don't have a lot of time to spare, the drive to the top of Elko Mountain is well worth the time. | |
