Emerald Lake and no glacier

For those who had hoped to glissade down the glacier on this day, their hopes were dashed as the glacier as we know it is also being affected by the harsh Utah summer. Hottest summer on record some of the local weathermen have stated and that has definitely impacted the famous Timp glacier. 8-19-13
