End of the road

End of the road
The eastern road access is a tough and difficult test for your 4WD vehicle.
We were trying to get to the He/She Devil area before it got dark so we beat the crap out of my vehicle by driving up to this point. 13 miles with 8 nasty miles included in that total. Mud holes, rocks, lots of rocks and more rocks. Did I mention the rocks? Better have 6 or 8 ply tires to go along with your 4WD high clearance rig. Check out this sign. Who really is going to get to see it? We stopped here with about a mile of hiking (up a tree blocked road) and 500 feet of elevation gain to deal with. Next time (if there is a next time), I'll take the trail, thank you very much.
