| After a rainy night at the lake we decided to leave a day early, but not before dropping packs at the junction and summiting in some pretty bad wind and rain. No views to be had. | |

| Scrambled east from Engle Lake up the East side of Engle Peak. Alot more difficult than main trail but much more rewarding and fun. | |

| Engle was probably the first Cabinet summit for me and it stirred my appetite for additional adventures in the Cabinets. The huckleberries were tasty as well. | |
