Eric on the Lincoln Traverse

[ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
Eric on the Lincoln Traverse
DEP bouldering outside Lincoln Dormitory, Grove City College, PA during my senior year. This and other GCC buildings were our training ground during the damn wet and cold winters of Northwestern PA.

He would want me to mention that he wasn't using any of the big crimpers or standing on the large ledge, edging only the smallest lines between the bricks.

"It should be noted that [Friedrich Nietzsche] also once stated, 'The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously.' He might have thought twice about that one if he had been handed a pair of ice tools and pushed in the general direction of Bridalveil Falls."   --Joe Simpson
