Excellent Ericads

A while back I made an album for mountain heather and many people innocently added photos of shrubs from the same family that really should not be included in the group. Since many of these larger shrub species are among the most beautiful and valuable of wild species, I thought a separate album for Ericaceous shrubs would be nice. Whether you recognize the group name or not, you know these favorite plants as Azaleas, Rhododendron, Vaccinium (huckleberry/blueberry/cranberry), Laurel, Labrador-tea, Manzanita, Bearberry and many others. Include photos of these or any other broad-leaf shrub of the family Ericaceae.

Great idea - gotta dig out some of mine

while I am stranded with a broken leg and can't do any mountain stuff ... I have images of different species of Kalmia and Gaultheria, and legendary Hawaiian o'helo Vaccinium...
