Espigüete. Eastern ridge.
Espigüete (2,450 ms) is one of the most famous peaks in Cordillera Cantábrica. Its eastern ridge drops 1,100 ms to the valley. The upper half of it is a limestone edge with a lot of I and II short passages (class 4). A funny and panoramic descent route after north face emotions. North face and eastern ridge are two very different routes and the mix of them made a great day. 16/11/2008.
