Splitboard Tour
What a gorgeous day in the Lost Sierra. About 3-4 inches of fresh on the upper mountain. We were the first ones up in the morning, bagged the main summit, before returning to the north summit to drop the awesome NE bowl. My kind of outing and locale.

Standard Route
Rode my little Honda mountain goat up the road from the ski resort parking lot to Eureka Lake, then hoofed it to the top from there. Past the parking lot, not a soul was seen. You could cut the tranquility with a knife, it was that peaceful.

Eureka Peak Loop
Fun loop from parking lot. Quite a bit of snow made for nice butt slides on the way down.
Early Halloween parties when planning on going hiking the next day are rather rugged. Banana costume should have been worn from the previous evening for the following morning's ascent.
Climbed it with two of my best friends hungover from a night at the Wal in Reno.

Fun Ski Descent
Skin'd up from the parking lot to Eureka Lake via the old chair lifts in shorts and a T-shirt. Then up to the summit via the north facing bowl. Fun ski down the prominent northeast bowl back to the old ski resort.

From the ski resort
Sgring conditions, snowshoed from the parkinglot to the summit via the North Ridge - a tad bit of interesting rock, otherwise a nice hike. Trip Report
