Evening on Sijaset

Observing sunset from Sijaset area (around 1500m) on the return from Sveto Brdo (1751m) to Vlaski Grad refuge (1260 m) (Modric route). Sun painted in orange the cliffs of Vlaski Grad (1375m) and Jerkovac (1240 m). There is a slight shower above the Velebit channel while on the left is Novigradsko More sea. In the distance, behind flat Ravni Kotari area, is sea and islands in Zadar archipelagos.

Very well done shot. You have really made the Croatian - and especially Velebit mountains - appealing!

one week in holland, and time and time again my mind turns towards croatia, which is still half a year till I'm there again.
and your photo's and descriptions make me cry ''let me go'', I wanna see, breath, touch.

will search and reed all you're showing till I get the chance to follow your trails in reallity.
